Our client a re-known Hospital in Nairobi targeting the urban poor communities is in the process of increasing its service delivery effectiveness. This has necessitated the need to urgently hire a consultant pediatrician whose details are described below.

Consultant Pediatrician Job Summary

The Pediatrician shall be expected to work full-time doing clinical work including but not limited to:

•     Inpatients pediatrics ward
•     Out patients pediatric clinic and casualty,
•     New Born Unit, Maternity Department
•     Outreach programs when requested (e.g. medical camp)
•     Organizing, coordinating and conducting CMEs and report accordingly

Qualification for Consultant Pediatrician Kenyan Jobs

• Be a Medical doctor with a degree in medicine and Surgery and a Masters of Medicine in Pediatrics
• Have a minimum post internship clinical experience of three (3) years (?)
• Be currently registered with and have a current practice license with the Medical Practitioners and Dentist Board
• Conversant with the use of computers especially MS office

Personality desired

• A person of good moral standing that strictly adheres to the medical professional ethics.
• Be a self starter, self motivated and able to work under minimum supervision
• Have a pleasant and approachable personality for patients, no matter their social status
• Be a good team worker, able to engage in good relationship with the colleagues
• Have the ability to organize and co-ordinate CMEs for staff and other interested parties
• Have excellent presentation and communication (oral and written) skills in English including training delivery skills.

NB: The Medical Services provider engaged shall be on duty at the hospital on days and times as indicated on the schedule of duties and agreed upon with the Medical Officer Incharge
