Accounts Assistants Career Opportunities in Kenya at Waumini Sacco

Waumini Co-operative is a National fast growing Sacco based in Nairobi with a membership of over 18,000 spread across Kenya.  The Sacco is registered by the Sacco Regulatory Body – SASRA.
We intend to fill the position below on a 2 year renewable contract.

Accounts Assistants (3 Positions)

 

Accounts Assistant  Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Cash handling (teller)
  • Processing payments,
  • Processing cheques for banking
  • Monthly Bank Reconciliations and all other reconciliations
  • Updating Members personal Accounts
  • Verification of loan application forms
  • Loan appraisals
  • Generating loan reports.
  • Defaulters’ notification & recovery of defaulted loans.
  • Attending to Members queries

Minimum Qualifications and Attributes for the Accounts Assistant Job in Kenya

  • CPA Part II, ACCA Level II
  • Certificate of good conduct
  • 2 years experience at the same level in a financial institution
  • Good analytical, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • High degree of integrity
  • Track record of good management and development skills
  • Knowledge of computerized accounting systems
