The Office of the Controller of Budget (OCOB) that is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the budgets of the National and County governments is now looking to fill various position.
OCOB Open Positions


1. Internal Auditor – Position is open to candidates with Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance or Accounting and its equivalent and have at least 3 years experience. Should be a qualified accountant.

2. Fiscal Analyst – The position is open to candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, Accounting or Finance and equivalent and at least 2 years relevant work experience.

3. Director, Legal Affairs – the position is open to candidates with a Masters in Law and post graduate diploma in law as well as 10 years experience.

4. Manager, Legal Affairs – Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Law, postgraduate Diploma in Law and 5 years relevant experience are invited to apply.

5. Manager, Human Resources and Administration – The position is currently open to candidates with a Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Social Science or equivalent and at least 5 years experience.

6. Senior Internal Auditor – candidates applying should have a Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance or equivalent, have CPA K and at least 5 years experience in auditing.

7. Principal Research & Planning officer – The position is currently open to applicants with a Degree in either Economics, Statistics, Commerce, Social Sciences, Finance or related and at least 5 years relevant experience.

8. Personal Assistant – the position is looking for candidates with a Degree in Economics, Finance, Social Sciences or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.

9. Senior Fiscal Analyst – candidates should have a Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Commerce or equivalent and at least 3 years relevant experience.

10. Research officer – A bachelor’s degree in either Economics, Statistics, Commerce, Social Science or equivalent and at least 2 years relevant experience.

Successful candidates for the above positions will be offered a competitive remuneration package and will be appointed on a three (3) year contract term.
