The Position
The quality officer will ensure that processes are in place to continuously improve the quality of care that guarantees safety of patients and staff at healthcare facilities enrolled into PharmAccess programs.
Quality Officer Job Key Responsibilities
- Enroll healthcare facilities and conduct quality assessment of services offered byhealth facilities using SafeCare standards, tools and reporting systems.
- Responsible for data management processes for facilities assessed including collection, analysis and presentation.
- Develop quality improvement plans and guide facilities to ensure those quality improvement plans are continuously implemented.
- Monitor progress towards implementation of quality improvement plans inclose collaboration with quality teams at facilities enrolled.
- Provide technical support to the quality teams of facilities enrolled to strengthen their capacity to deliver on recommendations made for quality improvement.
- Document the challenges and successes for each facility visited using the M&E and Technical Assistance framework and report appropriately.
- Perform other tasks related to PharmAccess programs as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualification & Requirements for Quality Officer Jobs in Kenya
- Minimum Nursing/clinical officer/health related diploma or equivalent preferredbut individuals with experience in leading quality improvement programs are encouraged to apply.
- A university degree will be an added advantage.
- Management experience in the health sector.
- At least three years experience in the health sector.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders is an added advantage.
