Transport Manager Job Roles and Responsibilities

• To ensure that all logistics Supply Chain (with particular emphasis on road, rail and water transport logistics) initiative are setup and managed effectively so as to yield the expected results on time.
• To ensure that the company assets that fall under the responsibility of logistics functions are utilized efficiently and maintained in an acceptable condition
• To specify and implement safety solutions, where applicable so as to ensure safe operations

Qualification for Transport Manager Jobs in Kenya

Education:

• University degree in supply chain management, logistics or engineering
• Previous experience of 3 to 5 years in planning-distribution, logistics or demand planning.

Additional Skills:

• Possess an appreciation of project management capability.
• Computer literacy particularly in Enterprise Resource Planning Modules, Microsoft office packages especially

MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel & MS Access.
N.B previous experience in a logistics industry exposure, highly advantageous
