Our Client is a Multinational corporation within the FMCG sector with a track record of outstanding achievements. They are looking to fill the position of a Brand Manager for its fast moving consumer goods business. The candidate should have product / brand management experience in reputed consumer packaged goods organization for minimum 4 – 5 years.

FMCG Brand Manager Job Responsibilities:

  • Planning & execution of Marketing Plan for the assigned product portfolio.
  • Planning and executing new initiatives and strategies for improving the products’ market share, growth and contribution.
  • Strategizing and continuous working towards brand building, brand positioning, brand health, etc.
  • Analyzing market intelligence on competition, consumer behavior, market compositions, region-wise and product-wise sales scenarios and strategizing accordingly.
  • New Product Development projects.
  • Market Research pertaining to the designated categories like Brand Health Tracks, Usage & Attitude Studies,
  • Concept Test, Syndicated Retail Studies, etc.
  • Developing and implementing communication strategies for the products/ brands.
  • Dealing with commercial activities pertaining to marketing functions viz vendor management & all executions.
  • Managing and coordinating with all external agencies related to the function.
  • Media planning, monitoring across all available & evolving vehicles.
  • Maintaining Advertising & Sales promotion tracker on a monthly basis in order to track spends against approved budget (Budget tracking).
  • Managing, supervising & developing the team reporting into the position.
  • All relevant data management and reporting.
  • Any other job which may be assigned by the management from time to time.

Skills for FMCG Brand Manager Jobs in Kenya

  • MBA with specialization in Marketing.
  • 5/6 years’ experience in FMCG (product/brand management)
  • Ready to travel on as needed basis
  • Should be very well versed with MS word, MS excel, MS PowerPoint
  • Experience in reputable Consumer packaged goods organizations managing brands.
  • Excellent in communication skills, writing proficiency in English.
  • Strong analytical skills.
